KPIs as a Tool to Increase Trust

If you want to make a dream come true, first thing first you need to trust it. But, how can you find the courage to do that? Justin Kan, founder of Justin TV and partner of Y Combinator, wrote an interesting post about this topic on his blog. Here’s a great quote from him:

“Trust your numbers and growth to give yourself confidence in the face of rejection.”

If you love your project, you have to define key performance indicators (KPIs) to help you trust it. And those stats must show that you are growing. If not, you need to pivot or to let it go.

Ho to define a KPI? It’s up to you and it can vary from project to project. Just keep in mind that they must refer to factors that are crucial to the realization of your dream.
